What a horrible experience. It is not easily accessible from any terminal other than Terminal 2. We arrived late at night in Terminal 5 and were instructed to take a bus to Terminal 2 or 3, but the bus (last one of the night) forced us out at Terminal 3. Terminal 3 was empty and closed. We had to yell and wave over a janitor at the passport checkpoint to find someone to let us out of the empty airport. The officer told us we could probably find the hotel outside. It was almost midnight and we had to cross past several parking garages on foot with all of our luggage to find the hotel. We had to buzz the front lobby who sounded annoyed when asking if we had a reservation and what our names were before letting us in out of the cold. When we got to the reception desk and told them how difficult it was to get to from Terminal 5 the man just shrugged and said, “You have to go back through Terminal 2 tomorrow.” and gave us a paper filled with photo directions back to Terminal 2 because it is that complicated. No warm greeting, no friendliness. Even if your room is fully paid for they want to charge you a $50 deposit for “fridge items”, yet the fridge was empty and not cold. They said we had only 5 minutes left until midnight if wanted to buy any snacks or drinks from the lobby. After long days of flights and traveling we were hoping this would be an easy and comfortable and convenient place for a long layover, but it wasn’t.

We stayed for a night prior to our flight back to Bahrain. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful, especially the young man who answered the call for help with our luggage when we arrived and nipped over to terminal two to get a couple of luggage trolleys for us.

In our reservation request, we’d asked for the sofa bed to be made up, and it was.

The food in the restaurant at dinner was very good and again the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The sound proofing also deserves a mention as we never heard any noise despite being located in the airport.

Corridors are narrow which made navigation with a lot of luggage a challenge, but I think that can be excused due to the hotel location.

I often struggle with hotel pillows as they tend to be massive but with zero neck support. Sadly the pillows here fell into that category too.

We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience. Comfy bed. Perfectly located to terminal 2 like a 90 second walk away. Easy check in on the app with digital room key using your phone. Your even allowed to select your own room and what floor you would like. Very good from Hilton.

We’re back here again after 3 weeks!

Convenient and cosy! Perfect place to stay before we catch our flight back to the US.

Located at Terminal 2 London Heathrow Airport where United Airlines is based in. There is a bridge connecting the hotel to the terminal 2 carpark and you can just walk straight into the terminal from there. 2 minutes walk.

I’ve lost count for how many times we have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn. Most of the times we checked in here for the night on the way out from London to Houston.

Service was efficient! Quick and easy online check in and check out. Digital key for the elevator and our room worked perfectly. The Apron Bar and the Apron restaurant were on level 1. Dinner at the restaurant was great. I enjoyed the rice and curry. The burger was delicious.

Fully recommended! We will return!

Airport hotels are often impersonal and less than friendly. Well, someone forgot to tell Hilton, as we received a friendly welcome on arrival, in the bars and in the restaurant. Our room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Food in the hotel restaurant was reasonable value, especially considering the location of the hotel, and was a good quality and very tasty. The runway bar on the top floor is an excellent place to while away a few hours with a beer or cocktail. We didn’t stay up late as we had an early morning flight the next day, but we woke refreshed and relaxed which was what we wanted!
